Beceem Communications Inc. was founded in October 2003 with the goal of building a wireless technology company offering semiconductor solutions for the wireless broadband market. Beceem is currently developing 802.16e IEEE Mobile WiMAX chipsets for terminal and infrastructure equipment. Its unique focus on the 802.16e Mobile WiMAX market allows Beceem to have the most advanced chipsets available in the market today. Beceem is aware of its enabling role in the WiMAX ecosystem, and especially the ability to work with both terminal and base station OEMs on early integration and interoperability testing enables our partners to accelerate the delivery of their products and become the first to support operator trials and commercial deployments of Mobile WiMAX networks.
