Ron is a seasoned semiconductor industry professional with more than 30 years of business management experience. Ron
was formerly Senior Vice President, Worldwide Marketing and Sales, at TSMC based at corporate headquarters in Hsin-Chu, Taiwan.
Previously, he was President of TSMC, USA, based in San Jose, California.
Prior to TSMC, Ron served as Vice President and General Manager for Data I/O Corporation in Redmond, Washington, where he was responsible for profit and loss management for the company's Programming Systems Business Unit. Other positions include Senior Vice President of Digital Systems International, Redmond, Washington; Executive Vice President and COO of Microchip Technology, Inc., Chandler, Arizona; and Executive Vice President of Fairchild Semiconductor Corporation, of Cupertino, California, where he was based in Puyallup, Washington and Tokyo, Japan. Ron began his career at Texas Instruments and held several key executive management and engineering positions in both Dallas and Houston, Texas.
Ron holds a B.S. in Physics from Sam Houston State University and an M.S. in Physics from the University of Arkansas. Ron serves on the board of directors of POWERPRECISE Solutions and Optimal Corporation.
